Talc

Talc is a hydrous magnesium silicate characterized for being soft and its formula is Mg3Si4O10(OH)2.

From 900 degrees the talc loses the hydroxyl groups and at around 1050º it recrystallizes in different shapes of enstatite (water-free magnesium silicate).

The melting point of talc is 1500º.

Our talc is produced from three different high quality raw material with different possible grading, characterized by different whiteness degrees covering therefore most of the technical needs of the talc applications.

The talc lines are:

Talc – MTM with a whiteness degree higher than 84 %
Talc – Extra White with a whiteness degree higher than 90 %
Talc – MS high quality talc with a whiteness degree higher than 95 %
