Microbolit

DESCRIPTION

Lightweight, hollow, spherical, low density, free-flowing, alumino-silicate spheres used in many applications where these characteristics are critical to performance.

Some of their key benefits are weight reduction, improved thermal insulation, reduced shrinkage, improved fire resistance or simply easier application. They also replace minerals and resins.

Paints, coatings and platers: High-build thermal insulation, chemical and slip-resistant coatings, roof coating, plasters/renders, auto under body and sound dampening.

Reduces weight and sag/shrinkage, improves rheology, thermal insulation and impact resistance. Chemically inert and non-absorbent.

Refractory / foundry: Insulating bricks, light weight castables foundry products.

Reduces weight and slump/shrinkage control. Increases thermal insulation and improves flow and pump ability.

Cements: Mortars, glass reinforced cement, hydraulic concrete, polymer concrete lightweight panels and mouldings.

Reduces weight and allows slump/shrinkage control. Increases thermal insulation, improves flow and pump ability.

Composites: Lower weight, increases stiffness, greater thermal insulation, improves impact resistance, saves raw material costs. Chemically inert and non-absorbent.

Putties, sealants and adhesives: Crack / joint filling, tile adhesives, automotive/marine body fillers.

Reduces weight, shrinkage and cracking, improves flow and workability. Better nail/screw grip.
